Jenna McKenzie
Jenna McKenzie is co-founder and Principal Geophysicist of Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience Inc., a consulting firm focused on the integration and interpretation of geoscientific data. She is passionate about exploration and has extensive field, processing, inversion and interpretation experience with ground and airborne geophysical methods in early exploration and advanced mining scenarios. Her consulting experience includes multiple commodity and deposit types including diamond, gold, potash and lithium, and porphyry copper, VMS and Sedex. Jenna is currently on the executive of the Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society (KEGS) and volunteers as Conference Secretary of Exploration ‘17, a Decennial Mineral Exploration Conference (

Principal Geophysicist Jenna McKenzie was invited to give a talk on the subject of pre-competitive data and how it can be used to Quebec’s advantage at the Quebec Mines conference in Quebec City, on Nov 22, 2018. 

After extensive research with her co-author Ken Witherly of Condor Consulting, Jenna presented a definition and global overview of pre-competitive data, state of the art technology utilized and recommendations on how Quebec can invest in this data to augment its status as a top mining jurisdiction in the world. Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience Inc. had the pleasure of participating in a strategic panel discussion at the Quebec Mines conference in Quebec City, on Nov 21, 2018. 

Jenna McKenzie, Principal Geophysicist of Ronacher McKenzie, joined several stakeholders in Quebec City to discuss the future needs of geophysics in the province of Quebec. Participating in the discussions were leaders in industry, academia and government. The officials from Quebec Mines asked a variety of questions including which different geophysical technologies.

Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience was represented at the Society of Exploration Geophysics (SEG) Annual Meeting in Anaheim, California in October 2018. Principal Geophysicist, Jenna McKenzie participated in several of the SEG Mining (SEGMIN) sessions and events. The conference was preceded by a field trip to the porphyry-copper deposit in Bagdad, Arizona.

Every ten years, the mineral exploration industry gathers in Toronto to participate in a conference to discuss our challenges, showcase innovation, and promote integration between Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry and Remote Sensing.

These conferences, now under the official entity of DMEC, the Decennial Mineral Exploration Conferences group, have been held in the seventh year of every decade, starting in 1967.

In May, I was invited to a special luncheon hosted by the Chancellor of the University of Toronto, the Honourable Michael H. Wilson, P.C., C.C., B.COM., LL.D.

Mr. Wilson is a Canadian diplomat, politician and business leader. He is a Companion of the Order of Canada and holds honorary degrees from the University of Toronto, Trinity College at the University of Toronto, York University, the University of Calgary, and the Royal Military College of Canada.

On April 20th, 2017, Jenna McKenzie spoke to the University of Toronto Earth Science graduating class at the "Earth Ring" ceremony.

The Earth Science Ring Ceremony, is a ritual of welcome into the profession of newly qualified geologists and geophysicists was started in Alberta in 1975. The ceremony carries many of the same passages written by Kipling for the Engineers' Iron Ring Ceremony, and symbolizes the commitment and responsibility that come with geoscience profession. The ring is marked with the cossed hammer of geology, and with the seismic trace of geophysics.
